Introduction to Stopwatch

In general, a stopwatch is a physical device used to track the seconds, minutes and hours by pressing the button. We can recreate the physical device into a software program using web technologies. This will include all the features present in the actual device.

Aim of the Project

The aim of this project is to create a single page web application that starts, stops and reset the timer and provides the time in hour, minutes and seconds format to the user.

Features of Stopwatch

The features of stopwatch include start, stop and reset.

• Start: The start button will enable the user to start the digital timer in the application.
• Stop: This button will allow the user to stop the digital timer.
• Reset: This button will allow the user to revert back the digital timer into its original state.

In the next lesson, we will look into the pre-requisite of the application along with the input and output format of the application.
